Los Superdemokraticos is a blog financed by "Action America Latina" of the German Federal Agency for Civic Education, remembering 200 years of independency of Latin American countries. In 2010 we were looking at more general topics such as history, citizenship, politics of the body and globalisation. In 2011, the blog will focus on more specific topics such as atomic energy.
German and Spanish speaking writers from Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Cuba, Germany, Guatemala, Israel, Mexiko, Peru, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela are telling us about their daily lifes in international political contexts. In 2010, each month we chose five texts to be translated into English. This was financed by FutureChallenges.org, an online platform of the Bertelsmann Stiftung, looking at the interdependencies of global challenges. In 2011 you will also find a selection of texts translated into English.-
